FAQs

What kind of care do you provide?

1

Non-medical home care. Our caregivers help with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship. We don't provide nursing or medical treatment.

Who do you serve?

2

Families across Philadelphia. Most clients come to us after a hospital or rehab stay. Others need steady support for months or years.

How do we pay for home care? Does Medicare cover it?

3

We're private-pay. Medicare generally doesn't cover non-medical home care. Some long-term care insurance policies do. As a licensed agency, we provide the invoices and care documentation your insurer needs for reimbursement.

How much does it cost?

4

Care for one person is $35 per hour. For couples, we offer a separate rate — just ask during your free consultation.

Yes. Shifts are at least 4 hours, with a minimum of 8 hours per week — lower than many agencies. This lets your caregiver build a real routine with your loved one.

Is there a minimum number of hours?

Who are your caregivers?

6

Personally vetted local professionals. They're W-2 employees, not contractors. Every caregiver passes our competency assessment before working with clients.

Will we have the same caregiver every time?

7

That's our goal. We match caregivers by personality, language, and household needs, and we build schedules around consistency.

Are you licensed?

8

Yes. Accesso Care is a licensed home care agency through the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

What happens during the free consultation?

9

A 15-minute conversation about your situation. We'll identify care gaps, explain what support could look like, and tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
