Care Isn’t Just a Service,
It’s a Connection

Connecting families, caregivers, and institutions with dignity and compassion to make care human and reliable.

Our Story

Accesso Care was born in 2023 out of a crisis in care. With 16 years of experience in long-term care facilities, Jimmy Zhang saw firsthand how Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) were leaving the profession in record numbers — exhausted, undervalued, and overworked. Facilities struggled to retain staff, and residents suffered from the instability. Something had to change.

In 2024, his partner and wife, Dr. Esther Hio-Tong Castillo, stepped in as CEO to lead the transformation. A sociologist, strategist, and immigrant herself, Esther is an expert in human behavior and workforce development. She has spent her career building programs across government, nonprofits, philanthropy, and academia that treat people with dignity and create systems that last.

Today, Esther leads Accesso Care with a vision to reimagine what care can look like — professional, compassionate, and sustainable. She designs the training and workforce supports that help caregivers grow, while Jimmy serves as Director of Care, ensuring compliance, safety, and reliability through his deep knowledge of nursing home operations.

Together, they turned Building Care into Accesso Care — a family-owned organization built on the values of community, honesty, and dignity. What makes Accesso Care different is simple: we invest in caregivers with training, mentorship, and community, because when caregivers thrive, families and facilities receive better, more reliable care. And above all, we believe elders are not just clients or residents — they are human beings who deserve dignity, compassion, and stability.

Accesso Care is more than staffing, more than home care. It is a care ecosystem rooted in community, honesty, and dignity — built to last.

Dignity

We believe every caregiver and every elder deserves to be treated with dignity. That’s why we provide stability, support, and training that uplift caregivers as professionals and ensure families and facilities can count on compassionate, human care.

Honesty

We build trust by being truthful, transparent, and real. Connection requires honesty — we don’t overpromise, we follow through. Whether it’s with caregivers, families, or facilities, we do what we say we’ll do.

Community

We believe care is stronger when it’s shared. Connection grows through community — from WhatsApp groups to picnics and training events, we create spaces where caregivers, families, and partners know they belong and are not alone.
